A Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) surgery set is a specialized collection of surgical instruments, often featuring high-quality stainless steel and titanium, used to treat severe coronary artery disease. These instruments are designed to facilitate bypassing blocked coronary arteries by creating new pathways with harvested blood vessels (grafts), thereby restoring blood flow, reducing anginal pain, and preventing heart attacks.

Accessing the Heart:
Includes sternal retractors to open the ribcage for conventional open-heart surgery.

Vessel Harvesting:
Specialized instruments are used to harvest healthy blood vessels (arteries from the chest/wrist or veins from the leg) to act as bypass grafts.

Performing Anastomosis:
Instruments such as specialized forceps, needle holders, and scissors are used to suture the graft to the aorta and to the coronary artery, both above and below the blockage.

Stabilization:
Suction stabilizers (e.g., Octopus) are used in "off-pump" or beating-heart procedures to immobilize a specific area of the heart during suturing.
