Country of origin : India

Tilley nasal forceps are used to insert and remove nasal dressings, packings, and other materials during ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) procedures. Their angled design allows for better visibility, while the long, thin, and often serrated jaws provide a secure grip for tasks like placing gauze, removing foreign bodies, and manipulating tissue during surgeries such as septoplasty.

Nasal packing:

To insert gauze strips or other packing materials into the nasal cavity, particularly after surgery or to control bleeding.

Removal of foreign objects:

To grasp and remove foreign bodies, crusts, or packing from the nose.

Tissue manipulation:

To remove cartilage and bone pieces during nasal and sinus surgeries.

General ENT procedures:

They are a versatile tool used in both outpatient settings and the operating room for various procedures involving the nasal cavity.

  • Additional Information

Tilley forceps are used for the removal or insertion of dressing in ear canals and nasal cavities. Manufactured from surgical steel, they are sometimes referred to as dressing or packing forceps and feature ridged jaws to grip dressings. The Tilley forceps are sterilised and come individually sealed.

    Angled design:
The forceps are bent at an angle to keep the surgeon's hand out of the line of sight.

    Long, thin blades:
These allow for easy insertion into the narrow nasal cavities.

    Serrated jaws:
Many types have serrated tips to provide a secure grip on dressings and other materials.
